Raffle Description

When COVID won’t let us ‘BINGO’, we ‘RAFFLE’! Join the Erie Humane Society for our 2nd Designer Purse Raffle!

We have 19 gorgeous, authentic, designer bags from COACH, Kate Spade, & Michael Kors. Just like our shelter pets, they are all looking for great homes with new owners who will love and cherish them. Our raffle runs from Monday, March 8th through Tuesday, March 30th. All tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm on March 30th. Winners will be announced on the Erie Humane Society’s Facebook page, LIVE, on Wednesday, March 31st. Tickets are 1/$15, 3/$40, 6/$75. Select your ticket option, then select which bags you want to *drop your tickets* in, and complete your purchase. All proceeds from this raffle will directly benefit the 200+ homeless shelter pets we care for each day. Virtual events such as our purse raffle help our shelter offset the approximately 30% loss in fundraising due to the inability to host our major events because of gathering restrictions with COVID-19. Shop from the comfort of your home! Take a chance on a beautiful new handbag, and help our shelter pets!

Good luck!

About Erie Humane Society

The Erie Humane Society is an independent, registered 501-c3 nonprofit, local, no-kill animal shelter, founded and incorporated in Erie, PA on November 14th, 1892. We help orphaned, injured, and abused pets by focusing our efforts on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming; keeping them safe, providing shelter, care and nutrition, and helping them lead happy, healthy lives. We are also a Fear-Free Shelter, actively employing techniques to reduce the fear, anxiety, and stress that pets often experience when entering a shelter environment. Providing our pets a calm, relaxing environment that meets their individual needs helps us set them up for successful placement with their forever families. The Erie Humane Society has no affiliation with national advocacy groups such as the Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA, nor do we receive any funding from them. We rely solely on grants, bequests, donations, and our fundraisers. Our Mission is to: RESCUE: To provide temporary shelter, veterinary care, and rehabilitation services for needy, domesticated pets in our community. REHABILITATE: To provide emotional and physical rehabilitation services to help prepare pets for their next chapter in life. REHOME: To provide responsible adoption services through application, home visits, and offering additional training services & counseling.
